OMGosh! I have watched a half a dozen tutorials on this technique and you are simply genius with 1. your camera angle and clarity of the filming 2. speed at which you move and 3 the words you use to guide the motions! I am so grateful for your kind and generous nature of sharing these wonderful skills. Be well and have a lovely day. bye

Camera positioned nicely, STEADY, CLEAR FOCUS, GOOD LIGHT. Slow demonstration of where needle goes + vocal cues for each step. Just a direct demonstration of the move - no side chatter, no flapping hands, no demo of the wrong way (just detracts from the correct way and confuses the point). THANK YOU VERY MUCH :>

Wonderfully clear -- and slow enough to allow the learner to mimic your movements as you perform them instead of having to watch the same video repeatedly.

Thank you so much. It took me a little while but I finally got it. It made my day to learn something new. I liked your slow demonstration, your very clear explanations, your patient repetitions. This is how children learn (I am a grandma, an old child!!) No background music so I could concentrate. Thank you. Your video is the best.

THANK YOU!!!! I watched a few other tutorials for this and they just weren't clear enough. You moved nice and slowly and explained everything clearly with a clear camera angle. Really helpful. I got it super quick watching you!

I agree! I just learned about German knitting, and I was told its best to learn from a German that knits. I looked through youtube, and found those with distracting music, and talking around in circles. This was very well done!

This is an amazingly well-done video! I can't believe I learned how to do this cast-on so easily and quickly. I love how slowly and clearly everything is explained, and how easy the video is to see at all times--and that it's even shown in continental style. Perfect! Thank you so much!

You are very welcome :-) I also meant to mention that you did wonderfully well with something most video makers skip over, namely you very clearly and slowly showed how to begin holding the yarn. Another excellent thing is that you used a fairly heavy yarn which showed the stitches clearly.

This is the best, clearest tutorial I have found for this CO method. After watching several others, I still had no idea what I was doing wrong until I watched yours. The camera angle is perfect, your hand movements are slow and steady, and your instructions are fantastically clear. Thank you so much for your excellent, steady demonstration of this method!

I agree with sabinaa128. This is the clearest of all knitting videos I've seen. I appreciate the slow speed, the clear focus, the work being carefully kept in the middle of the shot, the repetitions and your giving us an alternate way to finish the stitches. I also appreciate that there was no distracting music in the background. Well done. Thank you!

Thank you so much. I have tried for YEARS to master this CO. This is the one CO that has eluded me for some reason. I think it’s bending the thumb. Arthritis. I am a visual as well as a tactile learner and a knitter of over 50 years. I have searched and your tutorial is the best I’ve seen. Excellent job. Thank you. ✌🏻

Thank you so much for all your awesome tutorials, whenever I am looking up how to do something I always check to see if you have a video for the topic I am looking for first. Your videos are always simple, right to the point and easy to follow without excess chatter. I'm always impressed how easily I learn something from your videos. Thank you, your videos are appreciated

Thank you! You made it so easy to "see" how this method is done.... slow motion, didn't have to pause and go back once. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

THANK YOU. This was the third video I tried and the only one that made me 'get it'. Thank you for the clear, slow, close-up demonstration.
