Knitting Help - Slow Motion German Twisted Cast-On

For very visual learners, an addition to my slow motion playlist. The German Twisted Cast-On is my go-to whenever I need a CO with extra stretch.

The needles I'm using in this video are Knitter's Pride Ginger. The yarn is Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Bulky.

So glad I found this! I tried 2 or 3 videos before this and just could not get it.
You could tell that the knitters in the other videos could do this in their sleep and had trouble slowing it down enough to explain it.

I totally get that, I’ve even been there when teaching friends to crochet, but it’s really frustrating being the beginner wanting to say “woah! Woah! What did you just do there?!”

This, I think, is a great work around for that issue. I’m definitely going to be coming back to these videos

It helped me. I only had to rewind once. The main thing is to not give up. If it isn't working keep trying until you find the one thing you are doing incorrectly and change that. Sometimes it's just one tweak and the whole thing comes together!

I do this cast-on on two needles, removing the second when I start knitting. I find this gives it a little extra stretch, and it looks really good.
