If I bought one of Xbox power cords that has an external power supply unit could I just plug that in or do I have replace the internal one?

I got an issue with our Xbox series s and definitely have some liquid spilled that kinda like ruined from inside the console somehow I dunno if its have to do with punch or etc
Plus even started getting dirty
When Ive notice it didn't wanna cut back on power went out right after I began to press the button

I need mine fixed a hurricane storm lightning hit the cable wire last year

Mine is water damage at first the power button light wouldn’t come
On idk why but the console still turned on them spilled water on it about 3 weeks ago and let it sit blow dried it it still wont turn on but when I plug it up it beeps why is that
