Hello Shane, thanks for sharing this high value content with us. I´ve lost around 2 hours for the code at min 07:22 because he didn`t recognized any tables. I´ve saved the app end entered again and than it works perfectly :). Many thanks!

This is great Shane. I did something similar for an App i created for capturing PTO and Vacation requests for our employees. IT links to a shared team calendar in Outlook and sends invites to Managers and Employees.

Hi Shane, awesome video... On my end, I found that one reason to re-create the GUI would be an embedded Canvas app where users can create meeting/reminders for a particular record directly in Dynamics. Really cool!

Hello, another nice piece here. Just a quick one. Can we have the columns in the calendar for an invitee to be in his own outlook calendar and have reminders setup for them to remind them of scheduled date.?

Quick question, how did you create the initial screen with the meeting options, times, subject, attendees etc ? Was it a new screen template or one you created from scratch ?

Hey Shane, I watched it and it is great info. Do not need calendars this week but when I do, I know where to find it. Thanks!

Hello Shane, thanks for your videos.
How can I change the account linked by default when creating a calendar? I need to link a calendar of shared SharePoint and not the one linked to my email address

Hello Shane. Wonderfully explained.
If possible, could you please discuss about Dynamics Finance & operations and PowerApps connectors. How can we create, view, and modify ERP data from PowerApps.
Thanks

Hey Shane. Your videos are absolutely amazing, you've been helping me through these past months.
But now, talking more about this specific video, is it possible to input the days (MONDAY, TUESDAY...) that my event shall happen, and after that make recurrence like, every Monday and Wednesday ?

Hi Shane, thank you for this video! Is there a possibility to connect someone else's calendar? For example, my company has a calendar for photo ID appointment, and I would like people to see that calendar instead.

Great video.
You might not use it, but I will😅
This is nearly my use case. We have that one poor guy who has to set up the meetings with our board members and some other higher ups. There is a Standard text with some blanks to be filled. My Idea is to build an app where he picks alls these blank e.g. project name, Milestone, date, deadline for the documents and so on and the app fills the blanks. Plus of course alle the meeting details and attendees from a sharpoint list (still need to figure this one out).
So thanks a lot for saving me a lot of time😁

hey Shane, great video as always! I have an issue. I can only see the calendars of the connection account, and cannot retrieve the calendar of the user. So, the calendar invite never makes it to the user's calendar. Does the connection account need to have access to all the company calendars? What am I doing wrong?

Office365Outlook.V4CalendarPostItem(LookUp(Office365Outlook.CalendarGetTablesV2().value, name = "Calendar").name, Title1.Text, DateAdd(LookUp(Events, ID = varEventID, 'Start Time'), TimeZoneOffset(), Minutes), DateAdd(LookUp(Events, ID = varEventID, 'End Time'), TimeZoneOffset(), Minutes), "(UTC) Coordinated Universal Time", {body:HtmlText1.HtmlText, isReminderOn:true, reminderMinutesBeforeStart:15, showAs:"busy"});

Thanks!

I'd love to be able to create an app that can return calendars from a list that have availability within a user selected range. I've got several equipment calendars, and it'd be nice to have a way for users to book them and have their availability be easily displayed. They've got a great example of this for Room Calendars, but it doesn't work with equipment calendars; wondering if you had any advice or maybe give us a deeper dive into the outlook connector and scheduling/availability queries? Thanks, Shane. Huge fan of your videos.

Thank you for responding to my other question. Another one for the time, did you just use dropdown boxes for those? Also, how did you get the semicolon inserted. Is there a function you put in? Or is that something I have to get from your PowerApps website?

Very nice Shane, as always this helps so much, I have tried to patch the items of the event, but whenever I do so, it deletes all the previous Attendees and their responses, don't know how to upload all that.
