I tried playing ursa before.  I got vlads at ten minutes and then went to rosh.  Then our pudge activated his haste rune just so he could run in and take my aegis.  He could not stop making smily faces and lol's.  Then he got 5 man ganked and I only used my smoke on myself to escape, and he yelled at me for not helping him while I laughed and told him he deserved it.

i mostly buy :
1. phase boots
2. vladimir or helm of dominator(and late satanic)
3.shadowblade(later silver edge)
4.basher(abysal late)
5.crit/mkb/hot or eye of skadi depends on team

the axe that gives an cleave is also very nice on Ursa, some mana regen extra damage and you can destroy creeps even faster. and when heroes are stacked a bit overpower will hurt them all a lot.

This is because normal lifesteal is a unique attack modifier, and fury swipes is also a unique attack modifier. This means that fury swipes cancels out normal lifesteal. However, Vladimir's is aura lifesteal so it does not get overided by fury swipes.

If you take the quelling blade at the start instead of the stout shield then you shouldn't have to worry about NP's sprout, keep it until you get your blink dagger which also gives you a way out. I also take stats instead of earthshock.

Hang on, does life steal give you health based on how much damage you are doing to a target, or how much damage you actually have?

Totally depends, you don't have to max out your 2nd first if you don't wish to and same goes with the third skill. You can in fact max your first skill first but it really does depend. Don't actually start with both stout and quelling blade unless you are really confident and force staff is a pub item which you can grab for fun but its entirely optional. Phase is pretty useless lategame with that passive of yours i prefer treads and rad is also more luxury you can grab another big item instead

it sure is, and it fully stacks with other cleaves too. so 2 battlefury's would mean that you do 70% of your damage in an AoE cone in front of you. and oc cleaves of kunckha and tiny it works great too. nice if you go for an dps build but need mana regen too

Just had my first real carry game as this guy and he is awesome. Good thing I followed the guide, jungled a lot and killed Roshan a bit later than I should have, but still really early. Got an 11/1 K/D which I assume I will never again get in my life, because most of the time I'm terrible. Got tons of gold and items. Probably the most satisfying part was when I killed two guys then Skeleton King tried to get me while I was low on HP, I killed him, he revived himself and I killed him again. XD

Foes: Shadow Demon is a good counter to Ursa in my opinion. You got purge with a massive slow, and then distuption if he gets too close.

Why when i use ult he fully turns into red? i mean not only his hands. is it because of the new patch??

A Skull Basher might be the thing Ursa needs. Also I think you should include Dark Seer in the friends list because of Surge.

I'm new to DotA, my question is: is a Battlefurry good on ursa? The cleave on it makes the overpower do alot of damage in teamfights, and is also good for pushing.

I've seen people getting a Force Staff instead of Blink Dagger for the mana issues.. Tried it out and it works quite nicely.. Only problem is: you can't get bkb if you get force staff ..

first spell is actually quite important.. i usually only lvl 3rd once just to have that extra slow + burst damage.. remember, it takes 3-4 hits to acquire what u can do with 1 slam

Halberd is amazing against ursa.

Nothing's funnier than seeing an ursa thinking he's doing damage and dying mysteriously for him.

a dagon is allso recommended because of it to deal a lot of ranged damage and its a good thing when youre enemies try to escape

critical wold be meanliness for ursa, since fury swips will be cleaning your enemi for you.
since you got that focus on survival will make you stronger in team fights.

I dont get it when he implies that blink dagger is better thant shadow blade. Shadow blade provides u damge and attack speed, and by getting it u will force the other team to spend extra gold on invisibility detection items. So imo shadow blade is a must. Its a little bit expensive so if u are short on gold, then i supose u should just get a blink dagger and maybe sell it later and get shadow blade.
