I also disapprove of getting stats over Earthshock. I can understand if you get maybe 1 or 2 levels of stats before getting Earthshock, but you really underestimate its potential. Earthshock has decent nuke damage with 285 at level 4, but more importantly, it has a 55% slow at max level that lasts for a whopping 4 seconds which really just negates the importance of movement speed later on, which is why I think blink should be gotten over SnY. Its also spammable and has a deceptively large aoe.

Why so you use recommended build? If you use Mask of Madness it gives you a giant attack speed bonus so you can quickly take out one guy then focus on the other one afterwards. Plus a lifesteal bonus.

I agree with what you said about ursa not being a suitable hero for higher level competitive play but you are wrong about some things. Ursa has decent life (2278 at lvl 25 without strength boost) and great armor, earthshock can slow up to 55% at lvl 4 on top of damage, only 2 of his skills use mana and very little of it too, and his skills are fine for amateur level play, not pro level matches, but that doesn't mean his skills are bad. TA's skills don't offer much more than ursa's to be honest.

You should level up Earthshock before stats, the slow is actually very good. It has a low cd aswell.

Against Ursa or Lycan, I will pick a roaming support and make my first job shutting down the jungle (assuming he is jungling). It is a simple task on paper but it is risky. If I fail I feed, but if I succeed then I take a lot of farm from their carry, gives my team more farm, and as a support I don't need a lot of farm. Venge (with an early magic missile in case things for bad) is good for this but with good timing WD can be good (and you can steal his last hits if you're sneaky)

It's an old video I get that. BUT! For countering CC and spells you should use BKB! as you would with any other hero (except Meepo)
Blink is all about movement.

@ mr rhexx i really appriciate the tips i got the dota 2 demo and i suck at it and they really help so thanks but my inly complaint is that u r using some in game term i simply dont understand do u think u could explain ib your next video

let me paraphrase what you just said. Ursa isn't op. He is op in 90% of games, but in the remaining 10% of games where higher skilled players play, he is average.

Best thing to do is stunlock him. I find the ultimate team overall would be something like:
-Keeper Of The Light
-Shadow Shaman
-Juggernaut
-Lycanthrope
-Dragon Knight

Imagine a push: Lycan summons wolves, pops ulti and howl, attacks tower. Everyoen else is there to make enemy come into the trap. Shadow Shaman uses hex, shackle and serpents to disable people. KotL illuminates and Juggernaut omnislashes. Most are now dead. Dragon Knight and serpent wards will pick up whoever is left.

Also be aware that you can take the brunt of attacks since you will often have the aegis. Force teamfights when your team is ready to assist you, push towers and end the game early. Ursa falls off around the 45 to 50 minute mark to just about every carry because of his lack of flexibility. He has no bash, cannot pick up unique attack Modifers, lifesteal, blink, and bkb have to take up an item slot, and crit is useless. You are also countered completely by heavens Halberd.

Dota guides are about the last thing I would expect Rhexx would do, but if that's what he wants then fine I guess....

eh... never ever get MoM on Ursa, since the Life Steal on it is an orb effect and hence, cancels the Fury Swipes that gives Ursa the The only orbs that stack with Fury Swipes are %-based ones, such as the Maim on Sange (and SnY) and the lightning effects on Mjölnir and Maelstrom. Also, the Vladimirs Offering Life Steal is not an Orb, that is why you always get Vlads on Ursa. :)
