WELL TO EXPLAIN WHATS HAPPENING HERE. He saw Monkey's Passive skill the Jingu Mastery on Stack so he's thinking he might be there, he dropped the gem so he would get the vision on trees and thats how he found out Monkey doing Da Monkey Business

He saw MK’s passive skill icon atop the tree because he dropped the gem on the ground. Yes, he dropped it twice. To be more accurate, this is what happened:
1. He dropped gem at the left side of the tree cluster. As a result, he saw the passive icon.
2. He cast the sleep spell somewhat blindly around tree area.
3. He picked the gem up and dropped it the second time around the right side of the tree area. That’s where the right angle is and thus gave full vision to MK.
