35-45 knots is exactly what we encountered crossing the gulf of Biscay early last November. We managed quite well in the end but we were definitely more tense than you seem to be on your short! Your adventures are such an inspiration to me, my young kids, wife and I have been following your adventures almost from the beginning. When out at sea on our old First 42 from 1982 I often recall the lessons you directly or indirectly teach us all with you magnificent videos, keep up the good work and stay safe! I hope our paths will cross one day.

Great to see you had such fun, Erik. And fantastic seeing Tessie is as strong or stronger than ever. More amazing adventures to come. Big smile!

I loved the slumbering rhythm of those seas As always, the waves are far larger when you're there.

Tessi is like the Millennium Falcon, she takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'. What a grand lady of the sea.

I have to say I’ve stolen your idea of running down wind with just the jib. I have a much heavier boat (sister-ship of Bernard Moitessier’s Joshua - she’s done 10 Atlantic crossings in 40 years!) but it still works great in heavy weather conditions like that. We are in Scotland this coming summer, but heading to Norway next year. I enjoy your videos!

If you all only knew the lack of sleep and 100% heart & soul Erik put in to making this journey possible. Looking forward to his full trip video in the coming months! Sail-on you true Viking!

Love it. Like the way the helm was lashed down.

Cool systems to make the rudder a trim tab. I have a monitor Windvane (not installed and I never used) but I am thinking to change to a hydro vane and make my old design rudder a trim tab as well.
