Thank you so much for this video! For decades I gave up every holiday under the sun even Christmas because all of it has been polluted. BUT lately God is putting it on my heart to celebrate Lent this year. I believe it is pleasing to God to offer sacrifices of some kind. not animal. But denying our self certain pleasures. I have not partaken in any holidays but this year I will be celebrating Lent with God fasting and praying in my closet. Just was wondering what others do during the time. Thanks for the video! My Mom was Catholic and celebrated lent faithfully for years and I was a kid and hated it. Now I am yearning for something more meaningful and now see the beauty of celebrating such an event! I taught the Holy Bible for years and I know all the religious dogma centered around such practices. Really thankful for spiritual maturity. Don't think fasting is for everybody. Most people who speak against it haven't even fully devoted to hardly anything. My own humble opinion. Either way thank you so much for the time you gave us in explaining this! God bless!

Where in scripture are we instructed to celebrate Easter and Christmas? Jesus said he would be in the grave 3 days and 3 nights. If he was crucified on Friday and Rose Sunday morning how do you get 3 days and 3 nights from that? I'm also wondering why you never mentioned Passover since Jesus is our Passover Lamb and was crucified on Passover.

I didn’t grow up Catholic. Lent has been practiced in every denomination church I’ve attended in my life. Southern Baptist, Full Gospel Baptist, Pentecostal, Church of God in Christ, Assemblies of God, Non-Denominational and so on.

You should check out the analytical literal translation of the old and new testament by Gary f zeolla its a 9 book set that contains a concordance and a companion book I set the deuterocanical and apostolic fathers book aside untill further research. Also I would like to know what you think of the third testament spirit of truth.

We should first and foremost follow the Feasts of the LORD, before following traditions of Catholicism. Those are Passover & Firstfruits, Feast of Weeks (Pentecost), and Tabernacles.
