Modems and Routers made simple. That is the way it should be. Clear, concise explanations with NO high-level tech jargon thrown in to complicate a simple topic. Too many other speakers don't present info this way. Very good show.

I don't have a computer science background, but this presentation was simple and concise enough for me to grasp the essence of this technology. That says a lot because 30 minutes ago, I was in the nervana of total ignorance of how my home was connected to the internet. I am a better man for it.

Great presentation! Good illustrations and clear description of the functional roles each element plays. But without getting lost in some of the details, which is a problem with other presentations I've seen. Like the magic of creating a subnet and translation via the OSI model...
