here's a trick, as long as you have a weapon with something fire related on it, like a ruby, you can survive level 2 cold, as if you had a torch in hand, but it is rainproof!

I was a little upset when I first played cause I thought I had forgotten the shirt in the awakening room and that I would have to be shirtless for the entire tutorial

Attach a ruby to your shield, instant cold resistance without cooking cold resistance food

Those warm greaves REALLY come on perfect if you plan to do the shrines before the main story.

If you want the greaves before the shrine you can chop two trees and fuse them with ultrahand and climb that or stack the two boxes to the right on top of each other unfused and you can climb up that way as well

Also all the hidden Korok's. You can get up to 12 seeds or something before landing on Hyrule field lol

If you want to get the grieves before heading into the shrine you can chop the two trees down that are near the stone house and use them to climb up into the tree.

80 hours into the game - just found out there was a pair of leg warmers in the great sky island 🤦‍♂️

If you use your rise ability in the hollow tree, there is another korok on top.

For number 4: the korok aid is optional. I highly recommend feeding it to the lovely soldier constructs, or dropping it off the side of the island. Either will do

The Arcaic outfit is dope. Major Braveheart vibes. Not great for use, but makes Link look like a badass.
