If all your content is as good as this then your channel is very undervalued.

It’s true, I’ve never been a Zelda fan but when I played this game I instantly fell in love and now I’m a huge Zelda nerd

You can survive a fall from any height when out of stamina by opening your paraglider just before reaching the ground. You’re allowed a split second of gliding without stamina as long as you haven’t already opened your paraglider since running out of stamina. Same with falling off a wall.

One thing I've learned when playing botw is that you never truly have to fall to your death, or drown when you run out of stamina. Simply teleport to a nearby shrine when you find yourself stuck with no stamina. Easy.

1) Raid castle for OP weapons
2) Kill white maned lynels for more OP weapons
3) Use said OP weapons from horseback to wreck guardians and farm parts
4) Use parts for fully upgraded ancient armor
5) Take Ganon's butt

Top three sounds to hear:

3. Asmr
2. Markiplier’s voice
1. “Revali’s gale is now ready”

Personally, for beginning players, I recommend Mipha's grace first because we die a lot in this game. It cuts down the death ratio stopping you from restarting. Plus its the closest beast from kakariko village and hateno lab. And the enemies are at a low tier. Building zora armor takes no rupees. And map towers are easier to unlock. Its basically the beast with the least obstacles.

you know how happy I am to see how recent all the comments are? Lol I’m not as late to the party as I thought. This game is INSANE.

My first divine was at Zora's domain cause it was the closest while I was activating towers

Heres one for you. For starting fires you dont have to worry specifically about flint. If you have chuchu jellys and you cook them (by setting them next to a fire) which makes fire jellys which can pretty much do the same thing as flint

I have never played a Zelda game before this. I am addicted. I could jump in without knowing anything.

What I do right after the Great Plateau:
1) Climb all the way up to the top of Dueling Peaks and beat all of the shrines on them. The Shee Vaneer shrine is a great launching point to almost anywhere in the province.
2) Head straight over to Faron Tower and activate it. There is a ledge right next to it that is LOADED with hearty durians. One dish made of five hearty durians gives you 20 extra hearts, so I cook up a couple dozen to pad my health while I blitz stamina expansions.
3) Grab a flameblade, some wood, and a phrenic bow and dash over to Farosh's spring. Spam horn shards until you're blue in the face, and then you have money for days.

While you're right on Revali's Gale being the most practical, Urbosa's Fury also is quite handy for tougher enemies

This game has two parts:
1) playing fairly and facing difficulties the way you're supposed to.
2) shamelessly abusing Revali's Gale from the moment you exit Vah Medoh to the end credits.

A few things I've picked up from my replays:

You really should do hearts first, since you need 13 to pull the master sword. That's either 40 shrines without doing any of the divine beasts, or minus 4 shrines off that tally for each divine beast you clear, to as little as 24 shrines. You really want that sword as quick as you can get it. You can always churn a bunch of crickets into potions if you really need to refill your stamina in the middle of a climb or something.

When cooking, you can make meals that fully restore health or stamina by using a single ingredient that adds yellow hearts or stamina. Durians, radishes, anything that says Hearty will make a full-health dish by itself, and endura carrots or shrooms will similarly make full stamina refill dishes with a single ingredient. Apples and meat are good for roasting, as you can carry hundreds of roasted somethings in a single cooking inventory slot, which saves space and gives you a way to quickly heal chip damage so you can get back to using the master sword's throw attack.

Always keep a hammer and a torch handy, you'll pretty much always need them for breaking rocks and boxes or lighting fires. The moment you get a fire weapon, replace the torch with that and keep it undamaged so you can use it to light fires anytime without needing to strike flint. Since utility weapons take up melee slots, always expand your melee weapon inventory first before the other inventories.

Buying the stealth suit from Kakariko village is the best thing you can do with your money right off the bat. It's excellent to have on at all times, as you will always have opportunities to hunt and forage for potion fodder and meat that you can cook for profit. It also makes sneakstrikes very easy to pull off, letting you easily wipe out enemy encampments at night or knock out an isolated patrol without a fight. It's even better than the zora armor for catching fish since it's stealthier in the water, too.

The four environmental hazards are heat, fire, cold, and lightning. Make it a high priority to have something on hand to deal with these hazards right away. The armor sets for these (desert voe, flamebreaker, snowquill, and rubber suit) should be sought out quickly, but elixers are worth having even after you pick up the clothes, as they allow you to wear the stealth suit in these inhospitable environments, making foraging much easier.

I didn't grow up on Zelda but I absolutely fell in love with this game. And I'm glad I finally picked it up after all these years. This is for sure one of those things that are better late than never!

The 2 times I've played through BotW's Main Story, I went and got Mipha's Grace first, for the additional Health it would give upon revival. That being said, the 2nd one I get is ALWAYS Revali's Gale.
