I’m a sales guy at a Honda dealer. People say interior is great but hard to get over how the outside looks, CR-V and the Civics are the best sellers here.

The accord is just ugly. Civic is the new king

The Accord is SUFFERING from it’s looks. I am a Honda guy and want an Accord but I can’t look at it. The design team for the Accord should be looking for new jobs.

As an owner of a 10th gen 2.0t I feel the 11th gen is a step down.

Bottom line: if a dealer does not give you 15-25% off on a new Accord or Integra walk out and find a different dealer.

the Civic is now the size of what the Accord used to be. I had a 97 Accord that I put over 100k on with zero issues before getting t-boned at a stoplight. If I were to get a Honda 4 door now, I would choose the Civic

The mid-cycle refresh cannot come soon enough. The Camry has really taken a huge lead in terms of styling, economy, and performance

I think your spot on. The only thing I can think of is the design of the Accord. It no longer has that sporty appeal to it. It looks like something a retired person would drive.

They went backwards instead of forward with that design smh

Nobody wants the new Accord because it’s fucking ugly

1- they made the Accord ugly.2- Total disrespect to the gas engine no longer being a EXL. 3- The cloth upholstry in LX/EX is also cheap and ugly. Which leads to 4- Do a total refresh in 2025. I will keep my nicer 2014 EXL Accord.

No 2.0t no v6 no manual and it the ugliest accord ever

Why buy an Accord when you can just get the CRV for a few hundred bucks more? If you want a sedan, the Civic is better looking for a good amount less.

Honda better fix the Accord fast or else it will go away like all the other midsize sedans

Honda designs a super ugly Accord, then wonders why sales are tanking

I feel like the sales really plummeted when they decided to give it a weaker powertrain than the previous person and make the styling so very anonymous.

Hopefully they can give it a more powerful engine option and more substantive updates during the refresh.

The accord looks like a model from the early 90s- 2000s. Is officially now a gramma car

I'm so incredibly sick of everything being truck, SUV, COV vehicles.... I guess the country has turned its back on better driving sedans...

The Accord's exterior styling sucks. It just looks boring. Plus two of the biggest selling points for prevous generation (manual transmission and the K20C 2.0t) are dead.

Not to mention, since the 2016 model year, the Civic has been a pretty large car. It's big enough to comfortably fit 4 6 foot+ aldults, plenty for most buyers. Combine that with the better styling and lower price of the Civic, and I bet a lot of potential Accord buyers are opting for the Civic instead. Especially now that the Civic hybrid is available.

I'm a 2018 Accord owner, but if I were to buy another Honda now, it would certainly be a Civic. The Accord really doesn't have much going for it now, and the differences are more cons than pros unless you really need the massive rear seat space the Accord offers.
