I really wish this were a dream monitor. Looks like I have to go to 4k after all. I can't understand why a matte finish low brightness 1440p monitor is a hundred dollars more than the C2 42 inch.

Monitor before videocard now that we have OLED gaming monitors and I agree on the C2 for single player and everything else then pro fps games. I've had my C2 for a few months now and after having a glossy screen I'll never got back to matte. C2 is incredible.

The current gen GPU's have too many problems right now. The RTX 4000 series has the issues with the power connector melting. The Radeon RX 7900 series has the issue with the thermal chamber going to 110 degrees. Theres also the fact that the new Radeon cards have Displayport 2.1 and the RTX 4000 series cards still have displayport 1.4. I heard that we might see some Displayport 2.1 monitors in 2023.

I just bought the LG 42" C2 because of 4K plus oled and it was cheaper in price but its just too big for my small room, I was getting headaches and dizzy looking at it from only 4-5 feet. I am going to return it for the 27" monitor. Still cannot believe no one had made a 27-34" 4K oled monitor yet.

The bezels are thicker than other LG UG monitors therefore, the screen size is actually 26.5 and not 27. See their spec sheet and compare some monitors
