Kinda nuts to think that if Einstein were to live in our time I’m sure Joe would interview him.

Joe's ability to take interest in literally anything and everything is what makes him so good at what he does.

People trying to outsmart Sir Roger Penrose in the comment section. Gotta love the internet.

Man is 86 years old here and speaks so elegantly and passionately. His energy level slowly increasing throughout shows how passionate he is about his work.

I love listening to scientists like sir Roger and Brian Cox, they are so humble and unpatronising. I think it is because they realise that they know only a very small proportion of all that we can know, and that in time, their theories will be surpassed by future scientists. To know that your knowledge is incomplete is a sign of intelligence.

The whole time Jamie is just thinking, I already knew all of this.

And people still watch cable news? With podcasts like this, most TV interviews now seem foolish

So incredible to see Professor Penrose win the Nobel Prize.

One of the greatest minds.

How on earth did Joe manage to have a conversation with a Nobel prize winning theoretical physicist and one of the smartest people ever born. Insanity. Props to Joe for trying!!

He's so modest he mentions Escher without even mentioning that they were influences on each other. His science was inspired by Escher's art, and Escher's art was in turn inspired by Penrose's science. Like Escher sent him art made specially for him. LOL at Penrose on JRE, it's like seeing the queen at a McDonald's.

What an amazing guest. I love the British guests, so bright, polite and eloquent. I could listen to them all day.

Fun fact: Sir Roger’s uncle was a surrealist artist and camouflage expert who hung out with Pablo Picasso and his siblings are a physicist, a geneticist, and a chess grandmaster. Quite the family!

Big props to Joe Rogan for this interview! I knew Joe could have great conversations with comedians like Bill Burr and entrepreneurs like Elon Musk, but here he is asking intelligible questions to a physicist and producing a fantastically enjoyable conversation on a different level. Increased my respect for him.

At the conclusion of the video, it was scientifically confirmed that I'm as dumb as a box of rocks. 😧
