The thing that has gone wrong is that our formulas and mathematics can no longer model reality. There’s nothing wrong with reality. We just don’t have solid mathematical formulas and theories to explain black hole phenomena. Yet.

Its some measure of mass/energy in zero space creating infinite density. Essentially dividing by zero - thats what the singularity of a black hole is. But some infinities are bigger than others, and so some black holes are bigger than others.
