How to fix 'Not enough memory to open this page' Chrome Error

A couple of days ago, I stumbled upon a nasty chrome error while browsing several web pages on my old netbook. There was enough free RAM, however, Chrome kept showing the "Not enough memory to open this page" error.

Apparently, Chrome uses mainly the virtual memory, or the so called swap or page file, to operate. So I was able to fix this issue by simply increasing the initial and the maximum size of the dedicated virtual memory.

To increase the initial and maximum size of the dedicated virtual memory, please:

1. Right click the "Start Menu" icon, and then select "Search".

2. Enter "Advanced System Settings", and then select "View Advanced System Settings".

3. Select the "Advanced" tab - Performance - Settings - Advanced

4. Select "Change" - "Custom Size".

5. Increase the initial and the maximum size of the dedicated virtual memory, click "OK", and then restart you computer. That's it!

I hope this helps!
