The girl in this video was FANTASTIC, friendly, great personality. Loved watching her. She's among the very best and most interesting speakers I've seen. Definitely keep her!

RN here. BIG error at 1:05. Blood pressure is NOT the speed at which blood moves through your veins. It is the pressure exerted upon the blood vessels during contraction (systole/ the top number) and relaxation (diastole/ bottom number) of the heart. Other than this, good video.

I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and I’m only 19 😢
Yes is my fault, I used to eat cookies every morning with a monster energy drink, that was my everyday breakfast, and lunch was Panda Express or McDonald everyday! And also late night I’d get high and eat cake or pizzas everyday m.

Now I have high blood pressure, I hate that I have to stay away from the foods I like the drinks I like. I have to eat sad food. I started yesterday and I did felt satisfied I felt like I ate cardboard, everyone eating Xmas dinner and me with my tasteless chicken and veggies. I cried all night and hate myself I’m not normal anymore

Another RN (ER) here to report another error. Blood pressure (not blood speed) refers to the pressure inside of the arteries and NOT the veins, unless specifically specified otherwise. When people speak about blood pressure, they are referring to arterial blood pressure and not venous blood pressure.

Sodium is in every single processed food. Bread and prepared meats especially.

Eat lots of nitric oxide-rich foods like beets and green leafy vegetables.

Apparently this diet does not consider oxylates which are very bad for you as lbs recommends wheat which is very bad as well. Sticking with keto/carnivore as it has way better results. Check out Dr. Ken Berrys video on this.

Is it just me, or is this just basic, healthy eating? 🤔 *In other words, not really a diet? 🤷‍♀️

Salt doesn't cause high blood pressure though some people might be sensitive to it most are not. And how exactly does red meat increase blood pressure LOL.

The funny thing is my dad had to take less sodium and my mom had to take more and neither me nor my siblings seem to have either problem XD

The low-fat, high carb recommendations for years have done irreparable harm. Avocados are high in fat, nuts are high in, salmon is high in fat. Yet we know these are excellent foods for good health. 😊Many low fat foods are high in sugar. Diabetes has become much more prevalent due to the low fat, high carb recommendations. Most of us would do well to cut back on high sodium, hi processed foods. But I don't think that means you should refrain from adding a little salt to your salad, especially if you're getting plenty of potassium.

2300MG of sodium is 5.75g of salt. you don't need more than 6g tops
