There was a big push to develop hydrogen auto's in the early 2000's. Overnight it all went dark. Now we'er reviving the hydrogen cell's again. The range of the hydrogen vehicle makes it superior to ev's. My son's family is 500 mile drive. Can't do it in a ev without a charging stop somewhere along the way.

argh! I am now in 4 min and have not heard anything concrete. Like "highly efficient", but never discusses and compares the efficiency. Just a long sales speech. " Could be a game changer", but does not elaborate why. Hydrogen has a huge problem, because getting green cheap hydrogen to the fueling stations has proven to be really really hard.

Sixty years ago I learned at university that hydrogen was an exceptionally difficult gas to store or transport. This was because the hydrogen atom had only to lose one electron at the inside surface of a steel cylinder or pipe and the atom then became a single, extremely small, proton, which would diffuse and leak very quickly through the walls of the container. Since then we have no doubt developed some special surface treatments, which will help, but the basic problem is still the same. I've seen no discussion addressing this fundamental drawback.
