Most Floridians I've talked to assume governor DeSantis and most of the state legislature has been paid off. Why else would insurance go from $2, 400 a year to $10, 000? Right after a 3 billion dollar bailout for insurers? Only rich guys can afford to buy a house and pay insurance, so they do, and rent to someone who would have bought if we weren't screwed on insurance. They make up the insurance with higher rent. If you want to live indoors, you have to pay. The insurance scam is working perfectly. Low paid workers live in tents in 100 degree heat. Nobody in Florida's government cares. They spend their days in air conditioned offices paid for by the people living in tents.
