He's such a blame shifter. Ugh. He did not inherit the problem. He became gov in 2018 and while prices were high they were affordable. Rates didnt start doubling and tripling until 2020-21. And these things in place that will just "take time" to work? None of those things he did prevent insurance from leaving, bring new ones in, nor do they address the exponential rate hikes. Hes a charlatan. I wish we could get that Resign to Run law he changed put back in place so when he loses the primary, we lose him.

Home prices in FL almost doubled since 2019, building new overpriced homes does make it worse. Years ago hurricane season would cause a few hundred million in damages, now it's in the billions. No wonder insurance is out of control.

DeSantis needs to get funding to subsidize Citizens insurance & FEMA's disaster insurance before property values (& property taxes) plummet ... annnd cost is passed on to rental prices (= more homelessness) & business overhead (= more disproportionate inflation in FL)!!!

Draping…. Honestly what do insurance companies sell ? Fear that their product . Look they collect monthly payments and when is time to pay up they have a clause that exempts your policy. 🤔how very convenient.

Of course it does. In the end of the day what comes out of your pocket for the basic stuff in life matters a lot.
In woke terms I can say that what we are seeing is woke handling of the property insurance crisis.
