not only Taiwanese TSMC makes best chips in the world and great majority of them for Apple, Qualcomm, MediaTek, AMD, NVIDIA etc but also all PC parts such as motherboards, graphics cards are made in Taiwan, so if there is a war or blockade we're f*cked, prices will skyrocket and such thing as PC building will no longer exist for around 10 years.

I think you're too casual about dismissing China's area denial/anti-access capability. It's not just their Navy we'd be going up against. A single carrier group isn't going to last long enough to matter because it has to get too close for its air wing to be effective. Gotta be more than that in the mix.

I don’t think we are giving china a reason to take Taiwan. China has been planning to take Taiwan for a long time and it was inevitable. Given the current situation in Ukraine I believe Taiwan is in a position where china might have to make a move soon.

Interesting analysis but not a good strategic plan to let China control a shipping corridor that equates to 3.6 trillion in trade and is essential to be a unrestricted waterway. This would be a huge mistake for the US to remove navel protection for that area and Taiwan.
Solution is not through technology, it's through a revision of what is needed for small communities and a self sufficient lifestyle. Not polluting the earth, living in harmony with nature and removing the destructive central banks and fiat currency systems. Our forefathers warned not to be involved with foreign countries and wars. We have done just the opposite.
