Hey Kristina 😀 I play on a modified Roland TD-30 kit which was their flagship prior to the TD-50 (current flagship). I'm happy to see you jumping down the electronic drums rabbit hole but you need to dig into the module and tweak the sounds, EQ, compression, ambience, reverb, mic placements, room type etc etc to really hear what the module sounds are capable of. People watching this video are not hearing the true capabilities of Roland's electronic sounds. The sounds straight out of the box on this TD-27 sound awful without being dialed in. Alternatively, if you don't have the time you can purchase kits to load onto the module that have already been "tweaked" by vExpressions or Drum-tec for example. Better still, use drum software (VST) on a laptop such as Addictive Drums 2, EZDrummer 2, or Superior Drummer 3 to trigger real acoustic samples via the module which will absolutely blow peoples minds 🤯👍

Amazing of how you got the electric drum set from Roland, Kristina. For me, I have a Yamaha DTX 430k electric drums from Guitar Center as well.

FINALLY, somebody recorded this kit without the drum samples just to hear the room sound of the shells.
I've been wondering since it came out how loud is the bass drum with the heads. Couldn't find any videos but it is really an important aspect when you want to place it in a flat with loads of neighbours around you... Thanks a lot, Kristina for showing this!
