Sweetwater has to know how lucky they are to have Nick on their staff. I watch every video he's part of every time. What a beast of a salesman and even better drummer.

This guy is such a sick drummer, literally play with anybody in any genre. Hard to imagine anybody else really taking that kit to the level that he showcases it on. Even the kits I hate he still makes me sound cool. Nick knows a lotta tricks.

After having owned & played truckloads of acoustic kits from all major manufacturers ~ I’m now 100% Roland digital.

I'm still rocking the TD-30KV after 10 years. Still holds up.

I got this kit a few weeks ago. The digital instruments are a game changer. Buy it!

I used to really hate the sound of electronic kits, but after I’ve come to the realization that it’s really all that is feasible for my environment, I’ve just started to mainly focus on the build quality of kits. Any cheap module can sound good with trigger software but a cheap kit won’t be built as well. In terms of sizes and the build quality of this kit, you’re getting something solid here.

Great demonstration Nick sounds like an excellent set of drums!

Still rocking a TD-15kv here for the past 10 years. I'd love to get this kit, and combine it with my current one and daisy chain the modules... and create a monster kit.

Happy to have picked one up for the studio. Wanted a VAD 507 yet this kit saves quite a bit amount of space as the studio is piled up. So it really checks off a lot of boxes. I. am coming from a TD11 and will be using Superior Drummer 3. Cheers! 🙌 🔥 🥁

I feel like part of the reason it sounds so good is the dude playing it lol

Nick, I don't know if you'll see this comment but I would like to thank you for writing the song "There was a time" from the Spock's Beard album Octane. It's still one of my favorite songs!!

Been using mine for a long time. I beat it pretty hard, and it’s still as good as new

Reaally considering getting one. Been watching every single video on this kit multiple times and will soon be making a decision on purchasing this kit, which is quit a bit of money. Plus theres the need to sound proof my flooring as I live in an apartment.

As much as I like this new tech this stuff needs to come down massively in price, you literally have MIDI from 1982 on these units!!

What a fantastic demo and an amazing kit. This is a totally new level of capability from an electronic kit. Having heard a top end roland demo a few years ago, I was inclined to think that electronic kits had hit a brick wall, snares were still 'machine gunning' and there was a synthetic bloom to all the sounds. This though is a completely different animal!

OMG! Electro drums! I have the same sounding drums on my TD-8! I guess Roland likes to recycle a lot of their sound samples...
even though the build quality is top notch, the sound quality is still not quite there, I tried the TD-50 at a music store, and was blown away with the response of the USB snare and hi hat, but the sounds are still their signature synthetic drums, they're not bad if you use them for practice or in a venue, but for recording, I wouldn't use them, Alesis on the other hand, has better drum samples, tried their strike pro SE, and it was far better sound wise

Roland V-drummer for a LONG time here. And I have just sold everything and invested in the vastly superior Yamaha DTX10
