The plot follows archaeologist Indiana Jones (Ford) setting out to rescue his father (Connery), a medievalist who has vanished while searching for the Holy Grail. Following clues in the old man's notebook, Indy arrives in Venice, where he enlists the help of a beautiful academic (Doody), but they are not the only ones who are on the trail, and some sinister old enemies soon come out of the woodwork.

This was just great. Aside of ‘Stand by me’ the very best memory if River Phoenix we have. Then, pretty awesome how they gave us more about Indiana’s past. We even see the dog! ❤😂😊

The only thing about this opening that felt a bit weird to me was how Indy got a lot of the stuff that would define him in his adult life in this adventure like his fear of snakes his whip and his hat but I don’t think it’s bad
