Thank you for making this educational video. I wish I knew this earlier. I had two job offers many years ago when I just graduated from school, I chose one over another (better paid) because of false promises that they made to me during the interview. I moved my family across half of America giving up another better paid job offer, and only found out all the lies. I am an immigrant and knew nothing about the legal system back then, and did not know how and where to ask for help. It is sad that no one had made it right at that time.

Does this also apply to a position transfer in the same department.

Does being promised a certain amount of scheduled hours and being given less than by 10hrs+ fall under these laws? That happened to me in a job i just started and they reduced my hours for the rest of this week THIS morning because "they were over their allotted hours"

I wish they had this in Arizona. How do we get the ball rolling on this issue? I’d like to help push for a law like this here.

Two questions here. How do I calculate my compensation? And I signed an arbitration agreement, does this affect how much I can sue for damages?

Hello. I hope you will have time to answer my question. Do I have to relocate in order to have a case for fraudulent Inducement? Labor code 970 states relocation. I was wondering if i am still protected and have a case if relocation didn't take a place but i was falsely promised a job and therefore, quitted my existing job. Thank you in advance.

Are these laws practiced in other parts of the world like Malaysia or srilanka.

Just cause you have all the parts said needed for a case. That doesn't mean you have a case. Big business do what they want to the small guy not making good money. Cause the case aint worth it to them in most cases. Thats just what iv found. Stronger case with evidence to back. But low hourly wage. Several others from same company got same problem
