Isn’t anyone happy for the people selling these dumpy houses for WAY more than they are worth?

Now this blew up in the nosy mayor's face. Cathy Cargill is a private citizen not subject to whatever control and influence the mayor may think he has over her to require explanations she is not obligated to provide. Now she tells the Wall Street Journal the story and the mayor has egg on his face. I hope no one in Duluth was banking on the rest of the world having a positive view of Duluth!

She obviously is getting ready to have it zoned industrial if it isn't already and then build factories on a mjor waterway, the Cargills are not diversified into tourism so resorts are not likely.

As Minnesotans, it's our duty, to present her a potato tot hot dish at our local community center, so we can welcome our new neighbor to the north

omg. The humanity. Double, triple, what your house is worth in a voluntary sale.
The sheer legality of it all.
" our portfolio ' ? Jesus. Who turned the Mayor into Lord of the Manor? lol.

Not the North Shore and not east of the lift bridge but south of the lift bridge, instead.

The question everyone really should be asking is ... what the hell does a billionaire want with this dump of a town? 😆😆👎

Up on Rainy Lake if a billionaire buys a home for the lot and tears down the home, the value of the land stays pretty much the same. That's nice for the billionaire because they don't have to pay real-estate taxes on the what they paid for the upside of this is the rich that live on Park Point will be seeing their taxes go Louis County can use more taxes from the rich just like the people that live in Koochiching County that don't live on Rainy Lake.

I'm sure there are not many single family starter homes going up that neighborhood. My thoughts and prayers with all these tragic victims selling their homes for 2 and 3times their already inflated prices.

🤔 she has the right to do anything she wants to do. She's in America. The American rate as many letters as he wants. She can tear them down and leave a big pile of dirt. If she wants it it's none of anybody else's business. What she does with her Land that's the problem with everybody is everybody's up everybody else's azz and everybody else's biz lol mind your own business
