Before starting to rant.... great video, love the images.
I am happy that you included all the shutter details.
Also model, locations and so on are spot on.

The image quality is debatable. Good, no good, lack if this, lack of that, too much of this or too much of that.


No, Sony does not make a lens like that. It is not needed. I have scaled down to F2. Faster is hadly needed and this also reflects your images.
People don't really see it when shot at f1.2 except you explicitly say it.

I am also not a huge fan of Chinese lenses. In fact I would never touch a Chinese lens again. Back in 2017 I have bought a focal length reducer (a speedboaster thing). The items lost internal screws and ripped that shutter of my camera in halves. No compensation what so ever from the device maker. The camera was written off.

Today, we have arrived in 2025 and there is no sign of sustainability from any Chinese lens maker. It is a throw away item.
There is no service after warranty. You will be offered an expensive refurbished model to swap out your broken lens.
There is no one, who repairs Viltrox lenses. No thanks Viltrox.. and no thanks for no sustainabilty.

Nice!...this is good...Viltrox is putting these out there...Hopefully Sony take note in the sense that we need more 1.2!!! lenses..yes a 35 1.2 GM would be cool!..but we all now what we want is that 85 1.2!!..and no doubt Viltrox will release that sooner than Sony..and most likely be worth a look for sure..they did a great job with their 135mm 1.8..and looks like another winner in this 35mm 1.2!..
