Hello thank you for sharing your perspectives on EGO, I had watched a interesting documentary a few days ago and at one point of that documentary it was said that WITHOUT our EGO one would NOT experience reality. I believe if I understand you correctly that yes EGO was very important part of the humans evolution.

A healthy Ego self actualized solid self is important. You cant set bounderies, self care, Express your creativity in the world without it. Difference between arrogant driven look at me ego and a navigating this world healthy ego. Stay in the latter. Spirtual bypassing is denying you need one thus not Expressing your humaness. I dont claim to know anything other than l am here on earth, in my body, with needs, emotions - but l do know who drives me - my inner life and my awareness. My authenticness and self respect.

My ego has caused me pain, as I'm not that person who speaks like that....but what you said and how you explained it makes sense, I have a much better understanding!
