Fun fact, my dad actually met John Laroquette one time when my dad was working at Jubitz (near the Portland Airport in Oregon), which is wheee my dad has been working for about 15 years. Anyways John needed his car or whatever needed to be fixed or something like that, and the two ended up having a conversation, I forgot what else my dad told me (I was watching an episode of Chuck with John Laroquette guest starring), anyways, you'd have to ask him if you want to know more about it.

Night Court is in my top 5 favorite shows of all time. I'm still on the fence about this, but at least John Larroquette is in it. He makes everything better. We'll see.

When I heard this was re-booting I wanted to cry like a baby. I miss my childhood and it just bring back so many memories. This was my show I had to watch before I went to bed. I'm so happy it's back and can't sit still for the season premiere. WELCOME HOME JOHN LARROQUETTE. Love u bro

Very smart way to get me watching NBC again. In fact, if the big three networks filled their schedules with revivals of old shows, their ratings would probably skyrocket. I will watch this out of curiosity. And John Larroquette is a master of his craft.

As a big fan of the original Night Court, I was skeptical. After the passing of Harry Anderson, Markie Post, and Charles Robinson, I didn't think I would want to watch it. Boy, was I wrong. Melissa Rauch and John Larroquette have amazing chemistry. If Dan Fielding was exactly the same as he was 35 years ago, people would be screaming about a 75-year-old man chasing after young women. The other characters are good too. They are finding their groove. John said that before her passing, Markie was a big proponent of the new show, saying that we need to find out what happened to Dan. That's good enough for me. I am aware of Richard Moll not wanting to return. However, Marsha Warfield has been made posts on social media regarding the show that have been positive. I would not be surprised if she appeared in some capacity. Not sure of her current relationship with Richard. Perhaps she can convince him to come on if the two of them do it together.

Mellissa Rauch (She played the part of Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz on The Big Bang Theory) plays as Judge Abby Stone, daughter of the late Harold T. Stone (Played by Harry Anderson) who takes up her father's former bench on the night shift at the Manhattan Criminal Court.

They captured the essential spirit of the original Night Court series with this new one. It’s not the same, but how could it be? Why would anyone assume it could be? I like both versions, a lot. What a treat to get a reboot. We were already lucky enough to have the first one.
