Some quick science: the way this works in theory is you sweat, which dissolves some of the aluminium and forms aluminium salts, which are in turn absorbed back into your body. Some studies suggest that aluminium salts interfere with nerve function, which would explain the pain decreasing. (Note that all its doing is serving as a painkiller, not actually treating the problem)

Definitely do it sparingly, though. The once a week max in the video is there for a reason. Aluminium is a heavy metal so you don't want to be deliberately absorbing too much of it on a regular basis. Every once in a while won't hurt you, just be aware of how it works and decide how often you're comfortable with
