I have a 2yr degree in welding and thw only thing i learned was you do about 1000 welds before you do one that's "ok" lol

190 amps? Don’t forget to mention how hot the torch is gonna get in your hand.
Carring that much metal you take a chance of non fusion showing up in R T.

I've comes to understand that this is called 'walking the cup'.
Useful on the 'root pass', when the space is too wide to 'run a bead'.
Right?

that's similar toto how I do it. my heat is usually around 130 on hot pass and I go up to 180 amps from there.

How bout use heavy hitter tig rig run 300 amps get it done and flushed out the turn it down bout 160 Amp and 3 bead cap
