This looks pretty awesome on a tablet, and a tablet alone. I don't see this getting very popular as a desktop OS.

This is the future of computers! Pretty cool stuff. I think Apple really missed the mark on the ipad, which was basically just a giant ipod touch. A full powered computer in a tablet though... pretty awesome

@MarkBTW They've updated the task manger and the explorer and made loads of performance upgrades.

It's really good, I'm using it now, but it seems like it's more for netbooks and tablet PC's instead of bigger netbooks or desktops, unless you use them as media servers..

@MarkBTW well my friend looks can be deceiving. The interface might look like the OS was watered down, but it was actually made a lot more powerful and accessible. It became a lot easier for developers, and it got a lot easier to use for consumers. The metro interface is just more touchscreen friendly because that's where microsoft wants to go. Don't think this is a light OS just because you see it on a tablet. This is just a very universal OS that supports many devices.

Im sure that this is what people want, instead of netbook and desktop . Assessing these tablet is easier than to on your laptop in the middle of your bus trip .

@wtfonme98 Yeah and then you turn it off and it's... Windows 7. They haven't showcased any features aside from the metro interface. The fact that it can run on tablets means it's watered down from Windows 7.

@wtfonme98 Task manager looks the same. And I don't need it to be able to run on my grandma's computer. I want fantastic new features geared toward a powerhouse.

@jacoboam How is this in any way an iPad Poser??? It's going in the complete opposite direction of the iPad. iPad has iOS; a MOBILE PHONE designed OS, this is WINDOWS, a full blown PC OS, these are OPPOSITES. Android Tablets are the iPad Posers.
