I mean, they can still announce a bundle along the Switch 2 announcement.

They released 3ds and 2ds bundles very near the Switch presentation.

It makes sense to announce this bundle for the very same reason, so people buy them and sell more consoles

I don’t think this will affect the Switch 2 reveal. In fact, this is exactly what I’d expect Nintendo to do. Obviously they need to get rid of inventory, and it being ready for Christmas is how they get rid of it. I don’t think it will affect anything, releasing hardware bundles. Nintendo has to get rid of their current inventory. I mean for anybody who thinks this will affect a Switch 2 reveal, we got a weird double direct last month, we know production will be ramping up in the coming months, and we know it has to be announced by May 2025

Everyone saying no there wont be a switch 2 reveal cause of the new bundle. No, the are doing this to empty stock so that they have space in their warehouse for the new models and the 3ds / 2ds kept having new bundles well after the original switch release so your "sad news" was a whole lot of nothing.

I wouldn't overthink it. Switch sales are really low so they're gonna do a final bundle push for this holiday. It doesn't make sense for them to delay the reveal and release of Switch 2 any longer because they as a company need to move on for more sales.

I’m expecting the Switch 2 to be revealed next month since it make sense for them to do it. Because they did announce the Switch in October 2016 so I’m pretty sure they want to do it again with the Switch 2
