I was told by a family member that definitely believes in Christ. You can lose your salvation and when I said no you can’t, I was told I need to read my Bible. I have read the Bible and no where does it say we can lose it. This family member has been studying for years, before I was even born. I just thought to myself, what a Pharisee attitude to have and belief in that regard. Like you are special and have something to offer above everyone else. That is trying to live by works and self righteousness. If you could lose your salvation, Jesus is null and void. You just put yourself above Christ.

I always thought that when ever a intrusive thought came across my mind while I was praying is a sin i committed and would start repenting for that and like chain it would go on for hours but after hearing that the perfect one, the faithful one lives in me and I just have to rest on Him gave me a new mindset so from.now on I am gonna rest in what Jesus already has done for me in every situation and even when I mess up doing a sinful act and just ask God for His forgiveness and move on. Someone once said, if a Christian could lose his salvation he would. That's why losing your salvation is a lie from the pit of hell! Jesus holds on to us, we don't hold on to him, at least consistently enough to mean anything. Our works are like filthy rags, it's grace alone! Jesus meets us right where we are at, not where we should be. But having Jesus in you, you are a new creation and you will grow in holiness. This is a race, a process and Jesus has already marked it out for us. Bless him forever!
