I want to thank you for sharing this. So many things resonate and I have just started this journey with my therapist but there's so much limited info out there for black women. I just wanted to say thank you and you have helped me so much! The masking, the lack of desire to engage unless it's meaningful. I want friends but have always had trouble having them or keeping them. I do not mind being alone and I am also keeping my mind moving. I'm super sensitive to water and when I am anxious I do not like certain textured walls or solid surfaces. I am easily overstimulated at times. Thanks again. Off to do more research....lol.
