I grew up in a family with 6 siblings. Quite honestly, ALL of my christmas presents were lame. But I always appreciated them. Just having something wrapped with my name on it, was an acknowledgment that someone was thinking of me. I really can't have any empathy with these spoiled kids.

I am 25 years old and I live in the Netherlands, I've never ever had a single Christmas present, we just didn't do it. Back in my day, it wasn't that common to get presents at Christmas, we all went out for the day with the family and now at this age I always really look forward to Christmas, to just enjoy the holiday with my whole family! I think having a family without fights, where everyone really enjoys being together is the best present!

What makes it sad is that they cry for getting a bad present but there is some kids who don’t get any presents.

My best present was probably the Nintendo Switch I got last year and none of them are the worst cuz even if they aren’t that good I’m not gonna complain because it’s a gift and I’m not gonna cry over it and the best gift for all is Christ
