Ingredients:
1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted

This gives the brownies their sweetness and contributes to the chewy texture.
2 large eggs
Eggs act as a binder and help with the overall structure of the brownies.
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Vanilla enhances the chocolate flavor and adds a subtle aroma.
1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
Use unsweetened cocoa powder to get a rich chocolate flavor. Sift the cocoa powder to remove any lumps.
1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
Flour gives the brownies their structure. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the brownies tough.
1/4 teaspoon salt
A pinch of salt balances the sweetness and enhances the chocolate flavor.
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
This helps the brownies rise just a bit, giving them a slightly cakey texture.
Optional Add-ins:
1/2 cup (90g) chocolate chips
For extra chocolatey goodness, fold in semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips.
1/2 cup (60g) chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, etc.)
Nuts add a delightful crunch and complement the rich chocolate flavor.
Instructions:
