Why You Aren’t Growing in Your Career

You don’t need more courses, training or books to read.

You need to execute.

Look at your NY resolutions, career performance reviews (if any), or, simply, the job description of your next desired role. Review the results of that personality test that your company gave you. Recall the conversations with your manager, colleagues, clients/customers. Look at your journal.

You have PLENTY of ideas and starting points.

What you need to do is take ACTION because the execution piece is what’s really holding you back.

Stop worrying about how bad you will look while delivering that presentation. Stop worrying about what your co-workers will think. Stop worrying about trying and failing.

Present. Discover. Reflect. Turn your idea into a project. Go and talk to the person you scared to. Ask for help/time/favor.

Because you never know what will happen and what you are actually capable of unless you actually do it.
