I used scissors to cut off the fully grown ones, and waited for the smaller/younger ones to grow out more. Instead of pulling and taking all of them at the same time. I got a higher yield that way.

So I'm growing oysters myself, and I noticed that you put the mycelium close to the wall of the bag. Other people on Youtube tend to mix it very thoroughly with the straw.
But I tried your technique and it works really well. Do you know the explanation for this? Why does it seem to colonize faster (or at least fruit faster) when the spawn is put at the wall of the bag?
