a cool thing i did with the fruiting block kit was i actually just took it out of the entire bag and put it in a monotub and it was able to grow all around the block and not just the slits you cut in the front, you get more mushrooms that way.

I love how much the mycology scene has grown recently. When I started looking around years ago, information was hard to come by. I also noticed a lot of information was almost geared towards experts rather than helping newbies. Now, there's up-to-date information everywhere! I really appreciate you sharing knowledge with us. Mycology is so fun and interesting, and I'm excited to finally try growing something myself. I'm thinking of experimenting with a few different strains and substrates to see what works best for me. Might have to start a Mycology Journal!
