Hamming(7,4) error-correcting code (in C on Ubuntu Linux)

This video shows the C source code and some trial runs of the Hamming(7,4) error-correcting code. It took me a long time to learn enough C just to get this program written, so I'm not really in the mood right now to write the error detection and correction part, so maybe another day.

I only wrote this as payment for a lost bet with a friend. Yes, I'm a nerd. I've never programmed in C before but chose it because I'm using Linux and GCC is pre-installed, plus it's nice to expand your horizons.

My OS is Ubuntu 12.10 on the Gnome 3.6 desktop environment.
