for those who have doubt why we are taking P1 with D3 D5 D7 its because binary for 1 is 001 so we choose the positions which have 1 in first bit of their binary code, same for P2 having binary value 010 I hope this helps

impressive 1 ...keep it up..rest lectures were showing for 7 bits only and telling to memorize the d3, d5 blah blah..u made it simple and understrandable..thanx a lot

For specific parity either P1, P2, P3 check position of bit 1 in binary string of parity then use the same position find Ds(D3, D5...) with same bit 1position as the parity while ignoring other bits. Therefore its done. Like P1D3D5D7, P2D3D5D7, P4D5D6D7

Why we are considering P1 along with D3, D5, D6 to find whether it is even parity or not ? Don't we have to check the D3, D5, D6 and count no. of 1's in these to find that ?

you can also find the bit position by adding the parity value for example in the video p1 and p4 is the error. P1=1, P4=4, 1+4 =5 . so inverse the 5th position. same outcome as in the video.

Approach is correct but parity bits are not to be included with data sequence bits. P4 was 1, it should've been changed to 0 as D5, D6, D7 have even parity already.

Those who are thinking why did she considered P values too, in previous example values of P1, 2, 4 were not given but here they are given so we are considering them.
