OMG! you just saved my life! My iphone12 was completely dead. Last night it was at 5% before I left it charging overnight. Then I woke up this morning and it was completely "dead" the screen was black and I tried to turn it back on, charging it with different chargers and even cleaning the charging port. The charging port was not dirty but I tried this as other videos suggested this. Nothing worked and then you were the 3rd video that came up, tried this method and totally worked! Thank you. My daughter is happy now her phone was black when she woke up this morning even whilst on charge overnight. I did what you said in the video (volume up, volume down, hold power button) and it worked! Had to hold it a bit longer than 1 seconds I think, around 15-20 but thanks a lot!

Dude just saved me from wasting a day going to the Apple store. I think my phone did an update last night and when I woke up it wasn't on and wouldn't "charge" or tell me it was charging when I plugged it in. I did the soft reset and sure enough, the Apple icon came on. So stupid, but it worked. Thank you!
