I love the in-depth comparisons and your videos in general, but I would dearly love to see some isometric games once in a while. For those of us who play mainly crpg's such as Baldurs Gate 3, Jagged Alliance 3 and Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous for example. I'm sure including some of those isometric view games would make you stand out from the rest of the crowd.

I say get both. Get the laptop to play on the go, around family, on trips, and at your desk. Then when you get the desktop you can station it at your desk and prioritize your laptop for on the go use and free up a ton of space.

Though the differences are definitely apparent, I’m a very portable person, and I can’t finds a place to even put a permanent setup for a desktop. So overall, the laptop is a better deal for me, especially the Walmart deal on the Helios Neo 14.

Yes, laptops does include keypad, touchpad, monitor, but any high end gamer wont use it. Wonder using touchpad in cs go xD
So, people who game on laptops end up using laptop only as desktop tower.
Also, desktop performance wont drop due to heating in long gaming sessions, but laptop's performance will if air cooled.
Amd 5800X3D with 4070 will destroy pricing and performance id any laptop.

I just got a 4070 8gb i9, 32gb ram laptop, hopefully can run starfield. I never play games at 4k anyway. Love lower settings for more frames 😂

The fact laptops are four to six times the price of a equivalent performing laptop is disgusting, it should be desktops are more costly and laptops are cheaper as it was in 2012, but here we are today.
Manufacturers squeezing the absolute bonkers out of these machines is shameful.

Pretty big difference. I don't think these companies should be using the same name...bring back the "m" at the end. That being said playing at 1080p most of these FPS differences would not even be noticeable to me in any way that matters. Any thing above 40 feels smooth to me.

Nividia just fucked it, they know that 40s cards are efficient enough not to make a gap of preformance, but they decided to the gap to continue doing so

In the end you don't have choice in 3d mark 3070ti laptop get a round 11500 point and 4070 get 13000 point Right now you can find 4070 at 1100 to 1200 dollar in tuf series
