How To Mod Stardew Valley | Learn How To Add, Manage, and Configure in 2023

Let's learn how to play with mods in Stardew Valley!

In this video, I'll be going over the basics and beginner-friendly steps to take in installing Smapi and Mods, as well as getting into a bit more advanced tips on how to take a little more control over your modded game and troubleshoot when you come across problems. We will also cover mod managers and I'll show you everything I know about adding, removing, and configuring mods in Stardew Valley!

Stardew Valley 1.6 isn't out yet, but when it is, we should be having a complete overhaul and update of Smapi, so when that happens, I'll update this guide.

You can also have a mod folder for each save if you provide the '--mods-path' parameter to the shortcuts.
