Don't forget that 1.6 breaks A LOT of mods, some mods you need to delete first then place the mod and not replace the old mod with a new one. A lot of mods also no longer has as much dependencies and you should delete these old dependencies because they might cause errors.

i bought SDV on my pc today(had it on switch a long time) so i can mod it! i DID get overwhelmed a little(i think my computer is old/slow & as such has Issues) but I GOT IT!! THANK YOU!!
On another note -- again with the slow computer, it opens SDV and does the ConcernedApe loading screen then gets stuck on white? it has the noise/fullscreen buttons still, and did load up when i tried it before downloading SVE...
its been stuck on the screen the whole time ive been typing this comment actually-

For some reason i dont have error handler when installing smapi, i have uninstalled and reinstalled a few times and it is not showing up in my folder. Any ideas as to why?

I was curious about how to install smapi if it keeps giving you an error message? I've tried a few times but everytime it says "Oops, couldn't find the game automatically. Type the file path to the game directory (the one containing 'Stardew Valley.dll'), then press enter." and I was wondering how to fix that.

What do I do if it tells me that stardew valley expanded isn't manifesting so it won't load the mod
