Paracord Cable Sleeving Guide
Показать описание
First of all sorry for some audio in this video, I had to keep my voice down when I was recording. Moving on, this is my condensed version on how to sleeve your PSU cables. I try to give a step by step guide on how to do this while keeping the length down because it can be tedious.
I used paracord 550 from amazon that was very cheap, they also have a ton of color options that should match any build theme. The key to this being successful is being patient and paying attention to what you are doing. You are dealing with very small spaces and delicate equipment so you want your sleeving job to be as close to perfect as possible.
I know most cables can be done pretty easily but if you have the EVGA Supernova like I do, there are going to be capacitors on some of the cables and some split VGA cables that can give you problems. From my research, I believe that it is fine to remove the capacitors to get cleaner results. It seems as they are there for ripple suppression but can be removed without doing any harm to your components. If you buy the individually sleeved cables from EVGA, they do not come with the capacitors on the cables anyways.
Now if you have a second video card and have to use the split VGA cable, the process is still the same except you have to glue the cables to the end. It does seem a little ghetto but there is just no way to get two separate sleeves into the same space. If you are careful with this it looks just fine, and you can only see the details if you are literally right up next to the cable.
