How to Sleeve your Sata Power cables using Paracord

Nice, would be cool to see how your molex cables turn out, I haven't worked out how I am going to do mine yet, are yours daisy chained? If you have a good method I may use it and give you a shout out if you like?

Where did you buy that blue sleeve and whats the name of the blue

so did you just cover the sharp metal connector fins with electrical tape?

This is paracord from Blue Elk, I bought it from amazon and the colour is Javelin Blue, but any paracord will do just make sure that is 550lb paracord and that should do the job

I used masking tape but electrical tape would work fine as long as it isn't too thick as you may have a hard time getting the cable through the paracord then!

no, it is not MDPC, although MDPC is great sleeving you have to use a different method to used it. This is paracord and in my opinion is much easier if you are going to do a sleeveless aproach

So, that's a pretty good method but...if you are going to use heat shrink, there's no reason to use super glue.  The heat shrink is the super glue. Just hold your paracord in place while using your heat gun on the heat shrink and you will be good to go.  I do have to agree with you though on why you decided to abandon sleeving your inline sata power cable since the only one that will know it's sleeved is you. Admittedly, the OCD in me still wants it sleeved. lol

Google it. Shipped from Germany, and kinda expensive, but top quality that you basically can't get anywhere else.
