I DID IT🙀It didn’t hurt or anything and I can’t even feel it! I’ve always envied people who wore tampons and could go swimming, not have a pad show through leggings, not feel like their wearing a wet diaper all day. This video helped me soooo much, I really wanted to learn how to use a tampon since I have lots of trips planned for this summer that involve swimming, and there are also more convenient and clean. I did it my first try and all it took was breath breaths and to go slowly, and if the tampon got stuck I shifted the angle a little and kept going! I'm 14 and have 2 older sisters and both my parents are nurses. I've never been big on asking people for advice, especially on stuff like this. I tried putting in a tampon multiple times and failed. I realized that I would be on period during our beach vacation. Desperate not to ask anyone, I searched this video. You literally walked me through the whole process, me on the toilet with you playing in front of me. You should've seen my face when I finished. OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH LITERALLY LIFE SAVER. i’m going swimming and I knew I couldn’t wear a pad but i’ve never worn a tampon before and I was so scared and didn’t know exactly how to put it in, but this helped so much and it wasn’t as bad as I thought. I think i’ll start wearing them

I personally never had a problem with tampons, it has always been super easy for me to use them, but I know many people who struggle with them, so thank you so much for doing this video, I know it'll help lot's of people with vaginas ❤
Edit: A tip for beginners, use a mirror while inserting the tampon, that way you can know and understand better what you're doing and how it works. This helped me a lot the first time I used one.

so im 14 and have just had my period for about 6 months. when i first got it i did a LOT of research because i barely knew anything about periods and wanted to be prepared. i learned about tampons and decided that they may be the best option for me. after a few weeks of trying to get my moms PERMISSION to let me try tampons, i finally tried them on my 3rd period and its safe to say im never going back to pads. my mom still gives me a dirty look whenever i buy tampons and she uses the fact that she "allowed" me to use tampons in arguments, but i cant do anything to chance her mind so i just try to deal with it. as i said earlier i did a lot of research regarding my period so you can imagine how much research i did about tampons. i can safley say you covered all of my research into this one video. great job!

If you are having trouble taking the tampon out using the string, then I recommend wrapping the string around your finger like once or twice and then tugging slowly.
